She was a mysterious woman, who ran very fast, and was one of the most scared phantoms for hunters, watchers, agricultures and lumberjacks. People which have seen “La Patasola” said that she was a very beautiful and sexy lady which approached men and attempted to seduce them.

As soon as, she caught the attention of the man, took him far away into the forest, in a manner that this man cannot scaped from her. When “La Patasola” gets it, inmediatly she starts to become in a ugly and creepy woman with fire eyes, big mouth, huge teeht, and disheveled, covering all her horrible face with her hair.

Sometimes “La Patasola” acted as a lost woman, who cries without stopping, when her victime heard her and went forward to her trying to help her, she attacked him and transformed in her real shape, and like a monster ate him and drank his blood. 

I was happy to love nature; But once she arrived at the hacienda of the patron's family in the summer, the beautiful peasant woman could observe the luxury and coquetry of the young ladies who came from San Jose. He made a comparison between the charms of those women and theirs; He saw that his body was as curving as theirs, that they possessed a pretty face, a disgruntled smile, and devoted himself to imitation.

As she was a woman, the patron took her to her service and brought her to the capital where, shortly afterwards, she was seduced by a young man of those who in the halls are in tune with their culture and who often dawn completely drunk on The houses of tolerance. This sad legend that, day by day, we see it more frequently than yesterday, due to the growth of society, that are no longer the rivers, but the latrines and septic tanks where respect for life has passed to another plane, we Leads us to think that we are obliged to educate our sons and daughters more, in order to avoid lamenting and being more consistent with what surrounds us. From then on, the traveler hears the riverside, when in a quiet night he crosses the forest, birds complaining, harrowing and terrible that paralyze the blood. It's the Llorona who looks for her daughter ...

The moaning (la llorona) is a story told mainly by the grandparents, where 60% of the children are scared at night, I think this story is part of the Colombian culture and that over time different countries recognize it.

Some say that the woman was cursed to never die, and still wanders the world so that people can see the horrible scar on her face and pity her. Some people claim that others have actually seen a very beautiful young lady, who asked them: “Am I pretty?”  And once they replied positively, she ripped off the surgical mask, and showed them her horrible wound. She then asked the same question—and anyone who no longer found her pretty was met by tragic death from her hands.

There are two morals to this story: a compliment won’t cost you a thing, and honesty isn’t necessarily the best policy.

This conspiracy theory generated a famous novel by Dan Brown called the Davinci Code, this demonstrates how influential conspiracy theories can be.

In a horrible change, every member of her family died only a few days later too, The legend says that when you learn about the White Death, the girl’s ghost might come and find you, and knock repeatedly on your door. Each knock gets louder, till you open the door and she kills you for fear that you’ll tell someone else of her existence; her main goal is to prevent anyone from knowing about her.
