The income level of individuals in different society varies, especially in those developing nations where people have rare means of reaching a relatively medium income level in developed societies but are currently living a sufficient life for the prices of living are also lower. Thus, to define the term 'poverty', the basic living recourses and the means to get these recourses should be taken into consideration.

There are two questions: How to stipulate the punishment of criminals, How to define what kind of behavior is illegal. The definition of a criminal is so important because people need law to measure the actions of others. I think this is closely related to the values of the whole society. So laws change over time, because people's views change.

Ontology refers more to the basic of things (there are subjective and objective ontologies). Epistemology refers to what we know about the world (there is positivism and interpretivism). Positivism looks at the world objectively and focuses more on logic and data-quantitative research. Interpretivism is more concerned with the subjective interpretation of a matter and believes that the way the world is understood is influenced by experience - qualitative research.
