This novel was unexciting. Lucy experiences a family drama and overreacts. The plot is lack luster but life-like. Characters are realistic and cope with events in a way that any human could or would. Short, easy read.

Waste of my time. I kept reading hoping for something exciting and was utterly disappointed. The story had potential for excitement and intrigue, but lacked both. Hawthorne was dramatic, whiney, and self-absorbed.

Very very tough content to read. The story was told from several different characters which gave perspective to the novel. Overall, I liked the plot. I thought there was a huge inaccuracy with the timing of the entire novel. Not my favorite book but worth the read.
