The activity has a similar style to Bingo and the game can be adjusted to atypical and typical children. Adding more letters to make it more challenging and two sounds in one word. Here is a fun game that can be played in the classroom to enhance vocabulary fluency. On a blank sheet, make a box grid with enough spaces for students to write one word in each box. Place the grids on top of the students desk.*every child should have a sheet. Now, as you play music, the students will dance to another seat and write the vocab word you wrote on the word on another sheet that is not theirs. The person that fills up their sheet first wins! This activity uses music to incorporate literacy and it also serves as a gross motor activity for the students that are hyperactive. Students with exceptionalism that struggle with attention focus , this activity benefits them as they move and learn and have fun in one! The activity can vary in vocabulary and can be adjusted to letters and different theme words as well.

One activity that can be done at home with children to enhance literacy is the us of magnetic alphabet letters. These letters are big, easy to grasp and come in colors that engages the child attention. At home, you can use them with you child in diverse ways. Singing the alphabet in the bathtub with the letters , putting them on a board and spell different words, put the letters on the fridge child's eye level*, etc. Letters can be purchased on Amazon, and you can also find them in Walmart and Target stores in the toy sections.
