When Walter Cunningham was over for dinner at the Finch's house, Scout was not pleased with the way he was eating at the dinner table. He drowned his food in molasses, and Scout believed that this was wrong. Calpurnia and Atticus found Scouts remarks toward Walter to be rude. Calpurnia saw Walter as a guest at their house, and anything that he wanted, he was granted no matter what. No matter the background of a family since you can't understand their perspective of their life.

From his perspective, everything he was doing was fine, in no mind what he was doing was bad, and he continued to do it. For Jem, it was easy to categorize his sister as just a girl and remind her that she was just a girl. and from the perspective of Scout, she just felt used and like she was nothing to them and their plan, which was the truth. Dill was using her and neglecting her, while Jem was not allwoing her to be part of the planning becuase she was a girl.

- When most kids go into Highschool, they want to know what to expect. For everyone, those four years can be the best or the worst of their lives. When we ask someone what to expect, we are hearing their perspective and what they think highschool is like. Once they go into highschool, they come to realize that there was no truth in that, and their perspective is their own truth.
- In a friendship there can me arguments at time with a she said he said. when it goes around to everyone about this argument, it comes to a point where everyone is believing what they think happened instead of the actual story. that is how this connects to the real world, everyones perspective on the fight, what was said, and whos involved has become compeltly different from what the truth is.
