He didn't have a girlfriend because he made bad first impressions. Which made him give up and stop trying. Until a new girl came, the he liked her!

His uncle would have made him go home, but lucky for Joseph he was sick so his uncle let him stay. Joseph liked a story about a family called The Marvels. Then he finds out something about the story.

Roscuro came to be where he is through his wanting for light. Despereaux came to be where he is through his life of being of discrace and being led to rats by his brother. MIggery Sow became herself by being sold to a man by her own father for a handful of cigarettes, a red tablecloth, and a hen. Miggery wanted to be a princess, Roscuro wanted to get revenge on the princess, and Despereaux loved the princess. Despereaux was sent to the dungan.
