I hope you are doing well, although I know by now you still are not okay. I remember when my mom passed three years ago. She was hospitalized for four long months so somehow I can say that we were "prepared" for her to leave us. But at that time, it was srill so painful although I can already say where the story is going. I cannot imagine how painful it is for you and your brother to experience this loss all of a sudden and at a young age.

But although this is really devastating, I hope you find it in your heart the peace, comfort and joy that at the very least, she is now in a better place, best even. 

For now it is okay not to be okay. Mourn if you have to and take as much time as you need to heal. But do not forget that you have a family in our class and a mother in me. We will be here to help and comfort you whenever you need. 

Again, my deepest symphaties for your family. Stay strong. I will be praying for you.
