Once they were married they weren't able to become a slave anymore. Once married they got their own name, dressing how they want, and learning how to read and write.</p><p>Analyze of the photograph: An African American getting married by a white priest. The people are formal and a couple of the women are holding flowers. They people are also standing up and looked worried except the couple getting married. They couple look serious and they are closing their eyes. They might be praying or happy to get their freedom.</p>]]></description>
