feel that the president has an overload of work - maybe change to a party with ministers with separate roles. Ministers have their own groups of friends that would assist them

Currently feeling that student council members are unmotivated and some people are doing all the work. Lack of student council enjoyment.

Need a yearly list of goals so people know what they are working towards.

Would like a more student led council. Boundaries are needed but students feel like they don't own the council

Would love to have more teachers involved that are enthusiastic about the process whilst allowing the ownership to be the students

Better division of roles - leaders of individual departments rather than one president

More clarity about student requirement/commitment

need to bring the fun, school spirit, back to council rather than it feeling like a chore and students leaving as they no longer have the desire to continue.

Would like for the teachers involved to be given enough information about their role, not to be seen as extra work (students love having teachers involved but don't need them to do all the work)

more reasonable starter fund (can start event before fund raising)

Fund raising takes the fun out of the activity

need students in council that are involved- have defined roles rather students just sitting there.

Want more house activities that involve the houses (rather than points for selling tickets)

Combine houses for some activities so more community spirit

Need a bulletin board - be consistent (Casual Friday, same date)

better point distribution for large events (timely table more than sports event) Need to organised points system at the start of the year

student council has a lot of members and very few students that actively work. If we created a system where each class has to elect two representatives , we would have a core group of student council members of 24 students. These 24 core group members should elect the leaders of student council (president and co president). Then they should organise different committees (student life, environment, sport life etc). Once the different committees are set up, the committee could invite the help and support from other students that were not elected onto student council. But if student council was made up out of these 24 elected members, it would be more efficient and each class would learn that it requires people "stepping up".
