While listening to other people, not only did I discover interesting things about them but I also (re)discovered things about myself. 

I have also started to learn some very interesting things about Guadaloupe, its geography and history, as well as other cultures (food sharing has been a great experience!). 

One idea that I would like to explore more is that of how, as individuals or nations, we grow and change and so does our culture and how we can preserve a balance in all this dynamic process that is part of evolution.

Still I Wonder, what happens nations "old culture"? The origins etc., when cultures change? Or nations become multicultural? 

I think internationalisation is very important prosess, 'cos it makes people think about their origin and traditions as well. It's not just studying the foreing cultures and their traditions. 

Rita told us the history on Guadeloupe and the slavery. I didn't understand before, how near it is concidering history. And specially in Guadeloupe. I have none personal connection to slavery, because in Finland was no slavery ever. In my point of view, it's horrible to hear, that the divercity between dark and white People still excistes. I realized that we all have different aspects that define us as we are now. And those main aspects that mean so much to us are our values, that's why its's so difficult to talk about them without getting emotional. Another thought I kept in mind is that we change, and when we change our identity changes too. I never thought about it that way, as a concept that changes over the time. I really enjoyed all the sharing and I think that the picture of my dish exemplifies it. So for me it was a full dish!! See you tomorrow!

I've learnt that being vulnerable is not easy to handle,but that is also something I need for my personal growth as an individual... and that it's ok to be vulnerable. This is something I've been changing all over the years - not to be affraid of showing myself. The combination of a perfect spot, people and Rita's tone of voice made my day. "It's ok not to be ok!"
Listening to the other people made me realize that no matter how different we are, there´s more in common than we could even imagine...
