I think that we should abolish categories that are based on gender so that it becomes fair for us who do not identify; we would not be forced to choose whether we are a male or female. A question I have from this viewpoint is if we do not abolish these categories, how will I choose which awards I can receive?
    Wrap up: A new idea that I have about the topic is that many females are playing support roles or roles that are less significant then those of men. I didn't realize this before. A new question that I have now is: Are roles now given out because of an actor's skill, or their gender?

I think by abolishing awards categories separated by gender, it would be difficult for me to be able to get recognition. Since there will be more actors competing for the one award, I would have to try to outshine the other competitors. A question I have from this viewpoint is how can a small actor/actress be able to rise to the top?
