So, I chose a pair of dragon and Phoenix jade pieces as one of our exhibits. In Chinese history, the totems of the dragon and the phoenix were symbols of auspice and power, and only the emperor and empress could use patterns and accessories shaped like the dragon and the phoenix. Firstly, bases with different patterns are made of gold or gilded metal, and then beautiful blue feathers on the back of the kingfisher are inlaid on the pedestal to make various kinds of jewelry. But the process is brutal, with the craftsman plucking feathers from live kingfishers to keep the colors bright. As a result, kingfishers have suffered unprecedented disasters and are on the verge of extinction. In my opinion, the first thing to be done in the guide of the exhibition is to make the presentation clear, to describe the meaning conveyed by the exhibition from the theme to the content, so that people of different ages, families and educational backgrounds can understand the content of the text well. If inappropriate text is used, it will harm the marketing of the exhibition. When readers read the text, the text is too complicated or unclear, etc., which will discourage readers' interest in reading and thus lose their interest in the exhibition. According to that ,even if the exhibition is excellent, a large number of visitors will be lost due to the failure of the guide text.
