The Sift-News Literacy Project

The Sift is a weekly newsletter which is automatically sent for free to those who sign up. Every edition focuses on sifting through the most popular news of the week and debunking myths. It provides educators with knowledge on misinformation, lesson plans, discussion prompts regarding the week's subjects, and more. It will be of great use to me as I want to teach my students about media literacy.

Slido is another website which would be useful to engage students during a lesson. It can make pressentations/lectures much more interactive, by quickly creating word clouds, little quizzes, polls, and more. Users do not need an account in order to use this website.

Google Classroom

Google classroom is an amazing resource for teachers as it allows teachers to post documents, slides, videos, arrange students in groups, and more. The most useful feature for me would be Google Quizzes, which allows teachers to make quizzes and easily post them for students. After the quiz is done, the teacher can easily check answers and see where students are doing well and where they need more help.
