1. We should implement days where we learn about different cultures that are represented in our school so that we can gain more knowledge about what it's like in different cultures.
2. We should learn about the different languages people speak in our school.
3. We should have a day in the week where we eat foods from a different country.

1) I believe we should make everyone feel included by having monday as learning about different cultures behind the languages at our school, rather than mindful mindset videos.
2) On culture days, it should be learning about the different cultures as well all day, since we dont get many culture days.

1. I agree on Kherrington's idea to learn about other cultures instead of watching a mindful mindset.
2. Every day on the announcements they should say a fact about a different culture all throughout the year.
3. We should also decorate the hallways for different cultural month celebrations, like Hispanic Heritage month e.t.c. or make cultural themed competitions.

1. we should pick one day a month or every other month and and have the buzz bucks store have different religion candy!

2. we should learn how to speak different languages than Chinese and Spanish

3. we should be able to eat different foods from around the world that we choose, like the consular's maybe mr. tooson make a doc or something what we want trough out the week

1.) I think we should add candy and snacks from places around the world to the buzz bucks shop so people can try treats from other culture.
2.) There should be more forgien language classes other then the two we have right now.

1.For 1 week we can have a sign up sheet so every morning 1 person share there culture for a week.

I think we should let students try out different food from various cultures, and let them pick the best one. We could add more flags or anything else to make everyone fell more appreciated.

We should have a wear your flag day. It's a day where you get to wear the flag of where you're from.

How to wear the flag- Having a flag on as a cape, having a shirt of your flag, drawing your flag on your face, a flag pin, etc.

We should have a culture day assembly,
sure we have a culture day where we dress up in our culture but somebody couldn't know a lot about. That could be a time to educate other people!

I think every time there's an ethnicity/race being celebrated for a month we should have a contest where i.e. do posters or decorate their doors about that month we can do famous people from that race/ethnicity or countries. The student diversity council should vote on who should win and pick two winners one 8th grade i.e. and one 7th grade i.e. and the winners should get a free pizza party so it can motivate the students to actually try learning about the history of the people they were celebrating. Last year for black history month in art we drew a famous black person that empowered/helped the black community and I think in art we should do something like that anytime we celebrate an ethnicity/culture. Next month is gonna be native american/indigenous month and I think we should do announcements again but people can volunteer so more people can do it other than one person. Also I think whenever we're celebrating an ethnicity/race the student diversity council should get a say in what we decorate and maybe after school some members from our group should decorate the school if they want to and this can help for everyone to get to know each other. Last in the announcements it said for spirit week that one of the themes was Hawaiian which I have a problem with because for a very long time native Hawaiians culture has been treated like a joke or a party theme and is usually disrespected I was wondering if we could change that to be more respectful to others cultures.

We can help make our school more inclusive by including cultures into daily things such as saying fun facts about different cultures each week over the intercom. Just like the volleyball games and the basket ball staff vs.student games, we should take time out of a day during culture day and actually have people share their culture yeah sure we show our culture but not everyone understands what it means and what it represents. Not everyone will take the time to explain leaving people why. A lot of people within the culture also don't know why they wear certain things.We should also be talking about the difference between Culture APPORTION and culture APPRECIATION.We should talk about different communities within the culture.Not only that being inclusive means different things not just including culture.Being inclusive means to include someone. We can make our school more inclusive by including people who feel left out, By not expecting people to change how they are to "fit in" and by making everyone feel appreciate and included.

I think we should let people have a speech on their culture. I also think there should be preformances for each month or some months. For example, we can plan for black history month and a presentation.
Also have people who have been through with the civil rights movenemnt and stuff come up and talk to us about their experience.

1. We should include announcements about different people in history who made an impact, they have to be someone who isn't european because in my opinion, we only talk about european people in history.
2. We should have a day where we eat lunch from a different country each week.
3. We should have speakers come in and talk about their culture in their country and how they celebrate different holidays within their culture.

1) I feel like we should add food and candy to the lunch room (I'm aware people have said this already, but the more the better <3)!

2) A TV show or short clips of things that have happened not only to the basic cultures but cultures we might not talk about on a daily basis.
