A time when I showed unexpected courage was when one weekend I was at my soccer game we didn't have our goalie because he was sick and some one had to volunteer to be goalie, but no one wanted to be goalie because they were scared to get their hand injured because the other team could hit the ball really hard. So, I decided to volunteer because even though I was scared to because we didn't even have globes, I knew I could do it.
