         <description><![CDATA[<div>I went ahead and created a digital 3D model of an animal cell. Since it's an eukaryotic cell, it has is composed of many different organelles that help it survive and function. The nucleus is the command center and contains the DNA. The cytoplasm is important because provides a place for the other organelles to stay. The mitochondria provides power to the cell by producing ATP from cellular respiration. The cell membrane protects the cell by controlling what goes in and out of the cell. Ribosomes help create proteins from the information given by the DNA. Lysosomes contain digestive enzymes and aid in the digestion of materials. Endoplasmic reticulum helps in the transportation of proteins. Vacuoles store substances inside the cell and the golgi body helps in packaging and shipping of proteins.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I chose the diffusion with candy experiment and I also tried out other solvents while I was at it. I put each gummy bear with their different solvents overnight and these were the results. The small gummy bears next to the large ones are the control group of the experiment. Although most of the gummy bears got larger, non compared to the plain water and sugar mixture. Baking soda mixture wasn't that bad, but plain water reigns supreme. This helped me understand osmosis a little better through actually engaging in the experiment and by also trying other different solvents.</div>]]></description>
