I went into this course with a "I have no idea what I just did picking another math course" mindset but now I'm very glad that I did because it will be easier for me in Uni.

I've had you every year (xcpt grd 10) since I started VLC in grade 9 and your dedication towards helping all your students succeed is clearly shown. I appreciate everything you have done for us (especially me) to get here today. You may not know this, but VLC wouldn't have been the same for me without you being a teacher. 

Thanks for tolerating all my mishaps and late assignments (I'll never be able to thank you enough for putting up with all my late assignments last semester in functions). You're able to explain concepts that we have trouble understanding in such a patient and supportive manner. Your marking, assignments, exams, etc are some of the fairest and most reasonable out of all the courses I have taken. I've learned so much from all of them.

With this being my last time with the VLC, I will always remember all the effort you put into making online classes enjoyable and interesting and humorous (clearly by the screenshot I attached hahah). 

Keep being the amazing teacher that you are. You made learning online so much easier and engaging. I'm honestly very grateful that I had the opportunity of having you as a teacher.  

So thank you again so much for your time, effort, dedication, and everything else that you've done for your students. ~ See you at Graduation :). 

p.s: Hope you're not too mad about me posting this picture either LOL...taken back in grade 9...kept it for this day :P

OH LOL and although this isn't a big deal for me, you've been the only VLC teacher to this day, to correctly pronounce my name and remember it each semester, which I'm so impressed with, so thank you for that as well :D.

I've had you for two semesters in a row, and I enjoyed them thoroughly. There are so many memories that we share together that will never leave me. Although sharing jokes with you was arguably one of the best times in High School, learning with you was even funner. You always kept me on my toes during your classes to see what curve ball you were going to throw at us. One of the worst memories with you was when my internet would stop working. Oh the horror!

Here comes the sad part šŸ˜­ I appreciate all your effort you put into all of us last semester and this semester. I have truly learnt a lot from you. All the best in your future endeavours!

Through reading all the posts here, I hope you can get a glimpse of just how great a teacher you are.  I've had a lot of great teachers (especially because I was at VLC:) and they were all great at teaching, but you were great at teaching.  You taught us to figure out the problems ourselves and had us explore the concepts together to arrive at the new concepts before you even taught them to us.  You just had a great teaching style in that way by not just teaching us, but by getting us to think too.  You made things interesting too with the laughs you would add in (and sometimes Muhammad too...) which kept us awake even at 8:00am in the morning. :D  I will miss your engaging teaching and wish you could keep teaching me more math, but I guess that's just too good to be true. :)  I'm not sure what to say to tell you how much I enjoyed your classes.  I regret not asking more questions, but I hope future students will appreciate class time even more and take advantage of those times in classes to ask more questions than I did.  You have a wealth of information to share about the world of math and it's worth sharing to curious student minds. :)
Well, I guess I have to end this sometime... Sorry, I may gone on a tangent...  :D
Thank you ever so much Mr. Mckenzie for all the classes I had with you and all of the personalize support you would give to each of your students that would ask for it.  You spent a lot of time helping me over the years and I want to thank you for every bit of it!
Basically, what I have been trying to say is:  I really enjoyed your teaching/classes and I really appreciate all of your extra explanations and help!
