2. explain what it represents and describe it briefly. If necessary write the social or historical background.

3. why it would be important for the town/ village.

4. how big it is. what it is made of.

Stańczyk is a painting by Jan Matejko finished in 1862. The historical background for this painting was the war between Poland and Lithuania against Russia in the years 1512-1522, concretely one of its battles: the siege of Smolensk. In the end, the russians conquered the fortress.

The painting is set in the royal court, when the letter notifying the conquest arrived (we can see it on the bed). The rich and influential people, the monarchy, are not worried and keep their party behind the room. In contrast, the jester, who is the one who should be acting cheerful and carefree, is ironically the only one who is devastated by the news in the dark room, contrasting with the light from behind.

It would be important to have it because it gives a good message that always prevails and should get people attention. It's a 100% hand-painted oil painting reproduction on canvas. The dimensions are 120 cm × 88 cm. It can be temporal or permanent.

The Fourth Plinth “Let’s not repeat the mistakes of the past.”

Nowadays the world is becoming more and more polarized and as it succeeded in the past the same inertia is guiding the society to fascism, hate and fear.
Never has it been easier to access information or show data to educate the new generations, but all the responsibles seem to be focused on their economical interest and benefits more than in the society's wellness.

Despite the fact that the easy solutions to such complex problems never had a result, the memory of the people seems to be forgotten, and every day more people become blinded in front of the media manipulation and point out the migration as a cause of their own discontent.

The main idea of this sculpture is to remember the history. What happened to the people who have been involved in fascism? What happens when the far-right or the political or religious extremism get the power? Art doesn't need to be something to admire and enjoy, art must be provocative, it must make people think in this case, especially to younger generations.

This piece of art is made and designed by the EASD Ondara students. It’s forged with iron in different tones but without any paint or color. It shows the rudeness and sadness of the society which these values give as a result. The dimensions are 59,06 x 31,50 inches and the weight is 400 kilos. The design can be changed, but this is the idea.

The statue shows us a woman carrying on her back some tools and machines typically used for house cleaning. We can also see three children next to her skirt.

This figure represents the mental effort that some women with families have in their homes. The responsibility of the children and the housework often are for the woman, although it is not believed to be important. This is why this statue should be in a important place, to remind everyone that women have much more strength than people think.

Although it looks real, this statue does not exist. It is a figure generated by artificial intelligence that has become viral in social media.
