I was born and raised in Bethel, Alaska. Bethel is a rural Alaska community with about six thousand residents, about 67% of Bethel residents are Alaska Native (Yupik). Bethel is a hub community to about 50 villages in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta Region. Bethel is only accessible by air. I grew up boating, fishing, camping, snowmachining, playing outdoors, picking berries, playing basketball and running cross country. Working at the regional hospital (Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation) during high school inspired me to become a nurse! My parents and brother's family still live in Bethel and we visit several times a year.

My family and I live in Anchorage, AK. We have lived in Anchorage since 2009. I graduated with my BSN from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2014. I have worked in the ED for four years, dermatology for 2 years, and now in primary care and infectious disease for 4 years.
