Today was a report day. I went to Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa with my friends. We have been given paper to fill in the information. After filled the information, the training manager had given us the room key. He brought us to the hostel and told us the rules when staying at hostel. I cleaned my room after that. 

Today was an orientation day. I went to Cenang Hall to attend the orientation. We have been divided about four to five person in one group. The training manager introduced the Meritus and history. After that, he gives us 15 minutes to get to know each other among the group. We introduced the friend that sit beside us about the family, favourite food, and others. After that, the training manager had introduced to us all the manager from each department. 

Today was the first day to start intern at the Spa department. My shift was 12pm till 8pm for today. I introduced myself to the staff after reached Spa department. The staff gave me the Spa menu and told me and my friend that manager asks us to translate the menu to Chinese version. We translated the Spa menu in the office for whole day.

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. One of the staff showed me what have to be done when opening. First collect the spa key and micros from security post. After reached at Spa department, turn on the music, micros, PC, air-conditioned and switch on the lights. After that, sweep the reception area, wipe tables and chairs, and refresh all the pillows. Light up the candles for each room and setup the room treatment and spa lounge with the decoration flowers. After that, I stayed at the reception area. 

 

9am till 5pm was my today shift. I swept the floor and refresh the pillows after I reached Spa department. I swept the floor at the reception area and wipe the tables and chairs. At 1pm to 2pm, I had been test massage by the manager. About 3pm to 4pm, my manager asks one of the trainees shows us the step of the massage. 

My today shift was 2pm till 10pm. I had massage training at 3.30 pm till 5pm. After had a break, I covered the reception because all the staff have guest. I key in the daily revenue while at the reception. I collected all the flowers before closing.

My shift for today was 9am till 5pm. I went to lobby to change the water and the flowers before go to Spa department. At 12pm till 12.30pm, I hanged curtain with one of the trainee. I had a massage training at 3.30pm till 4.30pm before finish my shift. 

2pm till 10pm was my today shift. I had massage training with manager and staff at 3pm till 4pm. After that, I cleaned the toilets, sinks, and the stairs in order to make sure the cleanliness at Spa department. I keyed in the bill numbers and daily revenue before going back.

My shift today was 2pm till 10pm. At 2pm till 3pm I trained massage with the staff. After that I covered reception. Before closing, I keyed in the daily revenue and empty the trash bin in all room, pantry and spa lounge. I collected all the flowers and keep in the refrigerator. Before going back, I switched off the lights.

Today was my off day.

Today my shift was 9am till 5pm. I switched on the lights and air-conditioned. After that, I swept the floor and refresh the pillows and wiped the tables. I checked and replenished guest amenities in every room. I wiped the wall and railing staircase. I checked and cleaned the spider web. After that, I calculate the daily treatment for January while at the reception. 

Today my shift was 9am till 5pm. I swept the floor and wiped the tables. After that, I went to find flowers for the decoration in each room. I covered the reception area and calculate the daily treatment for February. 

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. Before going to Spa department I went to find flowers with the staff at Meritus. After that, I swept the floor and wiped the reception table. I covered the reception area while get the booking by phone and walk-in guest. While at the reception area, I key in the daily treatment and the guest comment.

Today my shift was 9am till 5pm. I swept the floor at the reception area and wiped the reception table. I went to lobby with one staff to change the water and flowers and make sure the spa brochure is enough. After that, I covered the reception. At 2pm till 3pm, I had one guest that had a Javanese Lulur body scrub. Before the treatment, we will give Tamarine juice and Ginger tea will be given after the treatment,

I stayed at the reception area and take booking by phone and walk-in guest. At 3.30pm till 5pm, I had massage training with the staff.

Today was my off day.

My shift today was 2pm till 10pm. At 6pm till 7.30pm, I cleaned the Pandan room with the staff as the room finish repairing. After that, we setup the Pandan room and make sure that the guest amenities like comb, underwear, shower gel, shampoo, and lotion are standby in that room. Before going back, switched off the lights, music, and air-conditioned.  

Today my shift was 2pm till 10pm. I covered the reception area after reached the Spa department. I keyed in the daily revenue and the guest comments when at the reception. Before closing, I empty the trash bin in all rooms, pantry and spa lounge. Collected the flowers and store it in the fridge, and count the dirty linen and put in the green plastic bag to send it for the next morning. 

Today my shift was 2pm till 10pm. I take booking for the next day from the guest by phone booking. Some of the guest walk-in to make a booking and I gave them the spa brochure. Before closing, I separate the bill and rearrange it according to the numbers.

My shift today was 2pm till 10pm. I deep clean Pandan room with one of the trainee from 2pm till 5pm. After that, I had one hour break to have dinner. I take booking for the next day from the guest by phone booking. Before closing, I separated the bill and rearrange it according to the numbers. 

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. I went to find flowers at Meritus area before going to Spa department. After that, I swept the floor and wiped the reception table. I covered the reception area while get the booking by phone. At 3pm till 5pm, I had training massage before finish my shift.

After that, I checked and replenished guest amenities like comb, underwear, soap, shampoo, and tissues in every treatment room. I had sold one yukata for RM150. 

Today my shift was 9am till 5pm. I went to find flowers at Meritus area before going to Spa department. After that, I swept the floor and wiped the reception table. I covered the reception area while get the booking by phone. While at the reception area, I key in the daily treatment and the guest comment.

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. I swept the floor at the reception area and lighted up the candle at the reception. I covered the reception area while key in the guest comment for last two days. After that, I was watering the plants. 

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. Before arrived at the Spa department, I met the staff and went to find flowers together. I swept the floor at the reception area and decorate the spa lounge by putting all the flowers. I lighted up the candle at the reception. After all the preparation, I covered the reception area.

Today was my off day.

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. I arrived at the Spa department before 8.45am. I swept the floor at the reception area and wiped the reception table. The staff asked me to find the flowers as the flowers are not enough to setup the room. I went to lobby with one staff to change the water and flowers and make sure the spa brochure is enough. After that, I covered the reception. 

My shift today was 2pm till 10pm. I take booking for the next day from the guest by phone booking. Some of the guest walk-in to make a booking and I gave them the spa brochure. Before closing, I separate the bill and rearrange it according to the numbers.

My shift today was 2pm till 10pm. I covered the reception for all day. I had collected all the flowers and store it into the refrigerator before closing. Some of the flowers thrown away because wilted. After that, I switched off the lights, music, and air-conditioned in each room. 

Today my shift was 2pm till 10pm. At 3pm till 5pm, I had massage training and did cucumber body wrap while my manager was my model. After had a dinner break, I covered the reception till closing.

My shift today was 2pm till 10pm. I had cover reception for all day today and take booking for the next day. I throw rubbish and make sure that all room trash bins have empties include pantry and spa lounge before closing.

Today my shift was 2pm till 10pm. I had covered the reception. Before closing, I collected all the flowers and store it in the fridge. After that, I switch off the lights and air-condition in each room before going back.  

Today was my off day. 

Today my shift was 9am till 5pm. I turned on the music in every room and refreshed all the pillows. Next, setup the rooms and checked the amenities. I swept the floor and wiped the railing staircase and checked whether have the spider web or not. 

I started my shift today from 9am till 5pm. I switched on the lights at the reception area after reached at Spa department. I lighted the candles and ensure burner clear from stain in every single room. I checked whether the amenities are enough for the guest. After that, I changed the flowers in each room to make sure that flowers not wilted. 

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. After reached at the Spa department, I boiled the water to make the ginger tea. While boiling the water, I swept the floor at the reception area and wipe the glass cabinet (sell products) at the reception area. After that, I make the ginger tea. It consist tea, ginger, and sugars. About 3pm till 4pm, I had training for foot reflexology massage before finish my shift.  

Today my shift was 9am till 5pm. I switched on the lights and air-conditioned for each room after arrived at the Spa department. I checked and replenished guest amenities like comb, underwear, shower gel, shampoo, lotion, and tissues in every room. After that, I swept the floor, wipe the tables, and watering the plants. 

I started my shift today from 9am until 5pm. I light up the candle at the reception area and swept the floor after reached the Spa department. After that, I covered the reception area. At 3.30pm till 4.30pm, I went to Pandan room to wipe the tables and floor before going back. 

My shift today was 9am till 5pm. In the morning, I swept the floor at the reception area and wiped the tables and chairs. At 2.30pm till 3pm I went to find flowers with my supervisor for the flower bath at 3.30pm. Before find the flowers, my manager asked me to filled water in the tub for the flower bath. After picked the flowers, my supervisor and I peel off the flowers to put in the Jacuzzi. 

Today was my off day.

I started my shift today from 9am till 5pm. I went to take Spa key and micros at security before going to Spa department. I swept the floor and wiped the table. I lighted up the candle at the reception and decorate spa lounge with flowers. I had one guest do foot reflexology massage for one hour at 10.45am till 11.45am. After I had a break, at 2.30pm I had one guest for Blissful Aromatherapy massage for an hour.
