My school has already been involved in a Project called "Histórias da Ajudaris" which involves that students work collaboratively. The Portuguese teachers make a shared docs available on the Classroom Platform and each student does his best contribution. At the end, there is a story built by each class. This story is sent to Ajudaris and they create a book with all stories collected by each school. It's an example of a citizenship activity because it involves volunteering work. Ajudaris is a social solidarity association and its motto is "small gestures, big hearts".

We conducted an Erasmus+ project that parent and student are included. Briefly, parents do activity online to be role model their kids weekly. And then everybody reported their opinion, created activity, what to do, recognize fake news, protection info etc. on padlet. My school developed a social media campaign and evaluated the risk of depopulation in their town.

They wrote a letter to the major and autonomous politicians. They received the visit of the politicians and through a debate they could expose and find out possible solutions.

In my school, attended by children aged 14 to 18, a peer education course is organized annually on youth problems (bullying, cyberbullying, drug abuse and smoking, eating disorders, gambling addiction). In this course, 10 students from the institute undertake, through research, information and games, to expose the problems to younger children attending middle schools.
It is an opportunity for dialogue, teaching - learning and making younger children learn - raising awareness (also through games) of pupils on current and very widespread issues nowadays.

A social media campaign in our school was held as an activity within the Erasmus+ project YOLO but Mollo, the topic being against bullying in schools. The campaign was held online, on the project Facebook page and also organised physically within one of the mobilities. The students were asked to create posters to advertise the campaign. They used drama to act out some bullying situations created by them and they were supposed to think of ways to combat the phenomenon.

As part of the Time project, an annual global communications project for primary and secondary schools launched by the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet), 8th graders tackled the global plastic crisis. The students investigated the harmfulness of plastic in the environment, the impact on health, microplastics, plastic in the sea and plastic recycling. Your research...

They published their research and knowledge on the blog of the Time project and thus communicated directly with the whole world. Namely, not only European schools are involved in the project, but also schools and individuals from all over the world. On Friday, November 27, 2020, the first video conference on the mentioned topic was held, moderated by Taiwan. The guest lecturer is also a distinguished scientist from Taiwan.

Our students participated very actively in the communication, answering all the questions and communicating with the interlocutor in English. An hour and a half was too little time for all the questions that arose after the lecturer's presentation. We learned a lot, but what stuck in our memory were the lecturer's words: "It's not too late to change, and every change must start from you. The plastic problem can be successfully solved if we ourselves change our habits and choose other materials instead of plastic."
