         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-39880163">http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-39880163</a><br><br>China’s president Xi Jinping invited world leaders to meet in Beijing, so he could encourage them to see China a major force in the world. He believes China should be seen as instrumental to global development and world peace. In order to persuade these countries, he goes through China’s history and economic advances. Although all countries’ presidents and prime ministers were invited, The US, Japan, India and most European countries declined the offer to join.<br><br>China's economy is continuing to rise and because they have rapidly achieved this level of growth, they also feel like they can become more involved in developing the world. they want to use their economic power to help the world.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

She focuses on the economic crisis and how financial regulation makes the economy safer.<br><br>This article relates to Keynes ideology that the state should be active and intervene in order for the market to work smoothly and not fail like it has already done in the past. The government will help with safe trade which will help economy grow.<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/11/us/politics/imf-tax-cuts.html">https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/11/us/politics/imf-tax-cuts.html</a><br><br>The Trump administration and Republicans are considering a tax cut on the wealthy, and the IMF bank is warning them that that is not the best decision. Cutting taxes on the wealthy would lead to a larger deficit and because the global economy is currently doing well, that reduction is not necessary.<br><br>The IMF ultimate goal is to maintain economic stability and promote growth, which is important for them to advise  the U.S. that reducing taxes on the rich can be more harmful, and will not create more jobs as they claim it will.</div>]]></description>

The company has not been bringing in much revenue so they have shifted their jobs overseas. Employees in India get paid one half to one fifth of what Americans would, which has helped the company that is undergoing  technological changes. IBM i not the only tech company to shift its jobs overseas, which threatens Americans high paying tech jobs.<br><br>American companies go multinational for either market seeking or Asset seeking. This article focuses on asset seeking, due to the lower wages paid overseas, the knowledge that workers have, and the labor productivity it benefits the country to invest in foreign countries.<br><br></div>]]></description>

They are creating uncertainties in the economy, by allowing the market do work on its own.<br><br>Rogoff also believes in Keynes theory that regulation and government involvement is necessary. the goalie to stabilize the economy that's recently experienced an economic crisis. low interests are necessary for countries to spend.</div>]]></description>

Many worry that it can cause financial instability.<br><br>They have been acting on the Keynes' theory, where government intervention was needed, and interest rates should be low. However;  because they have been pulling out of the crisis, the government wants a more hands off approach and higher interest rates. having low interest rates negatively impacted the value of the Euro.</div>]]></description>

They receive aid from the US, which allows the US to influence the political decisions being made. The US is involved in the elections.</div>]]></description>

Up until recent years the GDP was only increasing .63% a year. Due to higher amounts of remittances, GDP had gone up to 6% . The financial growth is concentrated in rich cities, those living in rural areas are still struggling to survive, and have more children.The leader has created programs to provide contraceptives for them.<br><br>In recent years, there has been a significant growth in remittances coming in from Filipinos that go abroad to work which has contributed to the GDP. Also in this case, population growth has not led to economic growth. They believe, that the less children the better for the economy and poverty levels.<br><br></div>]]></description>
