         <title>Rudolf Vrba&#39;s life</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Rudolf Vrba was born on <strong>September 11 1924 in </strong>Trnava in Slovakia<strong>, and died March 27, 2006. And when he was 19 he became the first Jew to escape from Auschwitz concentration camp. After he escaped from Auschwitz he wrote the autobiography "I Cannot Forgive". Also he later became a Biochemist mainly working in England and Canada.  After he escaped </strong>the Jewish Council found an apartment for Vrba and Wetzler in Liptovský Svätý Mikuláš, Slovakia, where the men kept a copy of the Vrba–Wetzler report, in Slovak, hidden behind a picture of the Virgin Mary. Rudolf Vrba died on 27 March 2006 in <strong>Vancouver, Canada at the age of 81. </strong></p>]]></description>

After the war, Vrba trained as a biochemist, working mostly in England and Canada. Rudolf helped impact the world because he helped tell the truth about Auschwitz</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Vrba's mother was from Zbehy; his maternal grandfather, Bernat Grünfeld, an Orthodox Jew from Nitra, was murdered in the Majdanek concentration camp. Vrba took the name Rudolf Vrba after his escape from Auschwitz. The Rosenbergs owned a steam sawmill in Jaklovce and lived in Trnava. When Rudolf Vrba escaped from Auschwitz he was only 18 years old. He also helped Fred Wetzler escape who would warn the world.</p>]]></description>
