Our team would gather together for practices and play games on saturdays like usual. Sometimes it would be hard for me to get the ball up to the basket, I had nop mental toughness at that point was not the best, so i quit at the time. My dad got onto me for that.  Always onto me. It seems like every car ride he has something to say about basketball.

This relates to theme because it shows that after I missed the basket and stopped trying. That very next game i scored 8 points and gave up maybe a 3rd of what I did earlier, and the car ride home was slightly better. But I Still got yelled at.

Roach was a tall, athletic team. I was already beat when I walked on the court. They were tall, athletic, and beat us by 54 points. I gave up in the middle of the third quarter. we were down 49-10. and the car ride home wasn't fun either
