         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the 1960s many gay and lesbian advocacy organizations were formed. They met in secret to avoid arrest, and the only public places gay men and lesbians could meet were gay bars. Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village was raided by the police in 1969. The Stonewall Riots occurred for a week, paving the way for the first gay rights associations and pride marches.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>"The HCR Law is Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (the ACA, or Obamacare), which prohibits discrimination in health coverage and care. It bans discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, and disability in health programs and activities that receive federal funding." Trump's rule cuts interpretation of law's proection and removes all prohibition of anti-transgender or anti-LGBTQ bias.<br>The HCR Law in Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act is still the law, and most courts say it protects trans people.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Congress could invalidate it if within 60 days that Congress is in session, Trump were no longer president and simple majorities in Congress in both chambers voted to block the rule. The date for the final rule to avoid this is uncertain. LGBTQ activist group Lambda Legal said it would challenge this new rule in court. Lawsuits resulting in a judge putting the rule on hold could stop the rule, but if not, it is set to go into effect 60 days from the date that the rule is published in the Federal Register.</div>]]></description>
