1. easy to back up valuable information than if it was collected across many devices. A network administrator can easily configure a backup for the server, and if the first data were to be destroyed, he or she would only want to recover the single backup.

2. Upgradation and Scalability in Client-server set-up : Changes can be made easily by just upgrading the server. Also new resources and systems can be added by making necessary changes in server

3. (centralized)
- one powerful computer (known as server) which acts as a provider of information to other sub-ordinate workstations
- it is all centralized in one place. Make it easier to control.

1 . Cost : It is very expensive to install and manage this type of computing
For example, you could pay over $800 for a copy of Windows NT Server and five client licenses, and that price doesn't even include the cost of the hardware, which must be more powerful than a standard workstation

2. Network Congestion occurs when a network is not able to adequately handle the traffic flowing through it. This is because there are more users on the network during the day (peak period) than at night (off-peak period). This is similar to getting on the train during rush hour versus when everyone is at work.

3.Disadvantages (needs high maintenance)

- A specialist network operating system is needed (costly)
- if any part of the server is broken and interrupted. It costs a large scale of disruption. Server down
- proper and consistent maintenance are needed to make sure the main computer (at the center) works efficiently.
