  •  Easter: celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead in Jerusalem.
  • Christmas: celebrates the birth of Jesus.
  • Good Friday: commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
  • Lent:  40 day period from ash Wednesday to easter.
  • Palm Sunday: is the Sunday before Christmas commemorating Jesus's entry into Jerusalem.
  •  Advent: is the period beginning four Sundays before Christmas. As you can see Christians all over the world celebrate a variety of holidays throughout the year.
  • Mardi Gras: celebrates the last day before lent, it is celebrated to enjoy one more feast before the 40  day fast

    • It commemorates the birth and death of Jesus Christ
  • Communion
    • Bread and Wine are consumed in memorial of Christ's death. 
    • Symbolic relationship between Christ and the Communicant. 
    • Bread represents the body of Christ
    • Wine represents the blood of Christ
    • Catholics believe that the wine and bread become the body and blood
  • Confirmation
    • A ritual often involving holy oil.  
  • Confession
    • The confessing of sins to a Priest. 
  • Anointing The Sick
    • A spiritual healing that is sometimes used to prepare someone for death. 
  • Marriage
    • Bonds two people together in a vow for life. 
  • Holy Orders
    • Priest and other religious figures.

Churches are a common place of worship. There is no real design for them and they are used primarily on Sunday. It can be a house to a school or an actual building. Cathedrals are massive churches with ornate architecture and stained glass windows sometimes dating back to the medieval times. They are used for the major holidays.
