"My most favorite part of this course would have been that it made me think more critical about the things that I did and the things that I would need to do so that I could be a better person. I like how the assignments would always make me reach deep inside of myself to get an honest reply or the best reply that I could get at the time. This course would make me think more about what I would do in my day to day life and it would make me realize that I could do a lot more things that I thought I couldn't do because I was either not confident in myself or because I always doubted myself. This course has made me grow into a better person than I was before it."

"My favorite part of this course was not one individual week but it was more of the entire journey of becoming a better leader. Although I did favor certain weeks over the other, each week individually bettered my skills. I really enjoyed being able to learn how to take new skills and implement them into everyday activities. Interacting with other classmates and learning how they use leadership skills in their everyday life. I have learned multiple skills that I have used in actual classrooms and even situations outside of school."

"I would give future students the advice of carefully thinking of how to answer each question, and to think of the work as an actual learning experience rather than just busy work. For one, this class can actually help you develop your skills as a leader or it can do absolutely nothing for you. It all depends on if you think about the questions your answering and if you're actually putting effort into the work. If you’re not, then you can expect to learn nothing, but if you are, then prepare to learn about the amazing skill that is LEADERSHIP."

"You shouldn't try to rush through all of your work to get it over with, but instead actually read the provided articles and take what you learn and apply it in your daily life. Also, throughout the course you'll do discussion forms and not everyone is going to agree with you, but you must learn to stand by your argument on a topic with facts from reliable sources and experience."

"My favorite part of this course was the assignments we got to do that were really creative. Such as the movie poster, and the bumper sticker. It was easier to be able to put your own touch on it, and really design it to your way. I love the creative aspect that this course does have. Another thing I loved how easy it was to be able to get in contact with the teacher. Always super helpful when I can just text her and get an answer for my questions!"

I think this quality is a good one to have because people need to know that judging people just makes them look like a bad person. I liked this the most because you got to see what your peers thought about the same thing you had just explained your opinion on. "I love how in our assignments we get to tell our personal experiences and how they relate to the topic we’re learning about. It really helps us link the lesson with the real world when we get to express other scenarios where it would be applicable to our everyday life. Also, in our journals you’re free to express yourself and your opinion. It’s nice to see my peers taking the information and forming their own opinions on it, it shows not only that they understand the material but also that we all have different views on it. "

"I love the online environment and the freedom that comes along with it. This class is a great example of that freedom. It wasn't too tied down where you weren't able to read through and understand the material. Not once with this class did I get bored or to the point that I had so much to do I couldn't read the material. It was easily accessible and easily understandable. I enjoyed this class so much and everything that it was about. I love the material and how it was presented. I feel like it definitely prepared me with the tools and how to be a successful leader. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or anyone who wants to be a leader because I developed as a leader so much from this class."

Also make sure you answer every question honestly because that determines how you grow as a leader. "I have defiantly improved my confidence during this course. Before taking this course I was not really focused on anything or improving my life, and this course made me realize that I can start now by taking action and making the changes I want to see in my life. It has also helped me develop my accountability, I have never taken a online class before, and I had to commit myself to doing my work, and doing it on time and well. Lastly it has helped me become more selfless and open-minded, reading all of these articles that fill you up with so many opinions makes you realize just how many ways of thinking and life there are. The course touches on the cons of power hungriness, the values of following your dreams, the importance of helping others, and that there is always room for self-improvement. "While I haven’t quite developed any new skills throughout this course, I have improved in more than three ways because of it. When I think of the terminology “leadership,” I don’t think of three words or simply only three skills. When I think of leadership, I think of transactional, relationship investment, imagination, relationship-building, creativity, cooperation, maturity, renewal, integrity, discipline, communication, maturity, sacrifice, perspective, character, persistence, inspiration, and many other words. I have not only grown as a leader because of this class, I’ve as well grown as a person. I’ve come to a realization that thinking outside of the box is actually a good trait to have as a leader and I’ve become much better in speaking my thoughts to others in a manner that would have a positive effect on both ends (whether that conversation is with classmates, my parents, a group of friends, or even someone you don’t know like a server). I as well learned that there is always room to add new information in one’s life. While I did learn this skill, I as well learned that one most make some sacrifices for the better (like giving away your food to a homeless person or willingly change your style to better fit a group project). I’ve used all of these skills and more. This course has been an excellent learning experience."

"Advice I would give to someone that is taking the course next semester would be to be honest and think deeply. The point of this course isn’t to just pass it and move on. The point of this course is to develop yourself into the person you want to be, the leader you want to be. Don’t rush through the

assignments. Do make sure you get your assignments done on time, but make sure you take your

time when doing them so that you not only completely finish the assignment, but get the true meaning of what the assignment and ultimately the course is trying to teach you."

"This course was a lot of fun and a lot of the articles I’ve read

during this course have actually helped me help others and pass wisdom unto

them. I see things from a completely different perspective that I didn’t even

know existed. I handle situations differently and handle every obstacle I

come across with confidence. I went in thinking I was going to hate having a

5th class. But I ended up loving the journey. I couldn’t have ended my senior

year any better. Stay consistent and don’t undermine the lessons. I learned a lot from this

class and every lesson I completed, I walked away with more confidence and

more advice to give. I learned how to better present myself, handle others,

and advise others. So enjoy the course and soak up as much as you can and

apply everything you learn to your life and you’ll see a big difference. Don’t

ever cheat yourself in this course, the material you learn you can actually

apply to your life for the rest of your life.

"Being in this course for the past few months I have realized how strong

independent one can be and by that I mean how strong and independent I can be. I’ve always known that I am capable of accomplishing great things but now I have expanded my thoughts on actually doing them thanks to my increase of motivation and positivity and even creativity helps. This class has allowed to realize the success that I will come across during my journey of life. I often felt myself feeling negative a lot in my life and without exaggeration, this class really has influenced me so much to be positive all of the time and not just half of the time. I remember when I first started this class I could stop rambling on to anyone and everyone how awesome this class was, I’ve really never felt a class on a personal level like I have with this one. I feel

much more motivated to be better and to do better always. I can be a leader and that’s what I choose to do. "

"I loved everything about this course and my favorite part would honestly be all of it. I

loved how I was actually able to expand the skills I already had such as motivation and others to

make me be a better leader for the people around me. I was always able to feel lifted with all of

the positive feedback I received from my teacher. This class really changed me and helped me

tremendously, I always looked forward to getting on the computer and working in this class. I

definitely will miss taking this class.
