Mihir demonstrates excellent body awareness for his age. He can confidently identify and point to different body parts and enjoys participating in interactive games such as Simon Says to showcase his understanding. He takes great delight in practising for the concert and is steadily gaining confidence. Mihir can crawl through the tunnel independently and is making impressive progress in his balancing skills, confidently walking along the sandpit wall. Mihir’s enthusiasm and growing coordination are wonderful to see!

Fine Motor:

Mihir has made excellent progress in his fine motor development. He is improving in holding his crayon and paintbrush correctly and takes great pleasure in painting and colouring activities, particularly finger painting with a variety of colours. He enjoys playing with playdough, confidently rolling it into balls and breaking it into smaller pieces with ease. Mihir is learning to use scissors and, with continued practice, is developing greater control in opening and closing them. He can complete a four-piece puzzle independently and, with encouragement and perseverance, is beginning to tackle a six-piece puzzle. Mihir’s dedication and growing confidence in his fine motor skills are truly commendable!

Gross Motor:

Mihir thoroughly enjoys his time at Buzzi Bodies and has shown great confidence in his gross motor skills. He participates enthusiastically in physical activities such as running, jumping and hopping, demonstrating steady progress in coordination and control. He is developing skill in throwing and catching a ball and shows increasing accuracy. Mihir loves being outdoors and makes full use of all the equipment, particularly the large jungle gym. His listening skills have also improved, allowing him to follow instructions more effectively.

Mihir’s confidence and active engagement in physical activities are truly encouraging!

Visual Development:

Mihir has made good progress in his visual perceptual development. He confidently recognises most colours and shapes, with the exception of the hexagon, and participates enthusiastically in games that involve finding and naming animals in books, demonstrating growing memory and recognition skills. He enjoys exploring different textures, such as macaroni, sand and water, which further supports the development of his sensory awareness.

He also enjoys storytime with puppets, showing curiosity and imagination during these interactive sessions. Mihir’s creativity and engagement in learning are truly impressive!

Mihir enjoys interactive counting games, such as clapping his hands while counting forwards and backwards from zero to twenty. He demonstrates confident shape recognition, identifying all his shapes correctly. He is also beginning to understand basic measurement concepts, using terms such as “full” and “empty” appropriately during play-based activities.
