         <description><![CDATA[<div>I love the family feeling as an environment/culture that KOO has created.<br><br>I have liked being in fellowship with so many Black people and allies who are passionate about the uplift of our youth<br><br>I love that KOO feels like a family, even though everyone isn’t local. I also love the KOO values and see how valuable they are even outside of the program.<br><br>I would love to see the staff more and be able to connect with people not only on my teamI would love to see the staff more and be able to connect with people not only on my team.<br><br>I would love to see more gifts/gear given to the KOO staff.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have felt supported and seen in my role w/affirmations, continued asks, and encouragement to grow<br><br>I do not feel unsupported in my role at KOO.<br><br>Loved the willingness of the organization to be open to change. The conversation about Belonging could have been more direct. I appreciate the scaffolding but I also wanted more time for whole group conversation OR I would recommend we have stations where people can talk about specific issues.<br><br>I want to see less misgendering of team members and others.<br><br>I want to see more of shared information and how it is disseminated among the organization.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

I feel that everyone is genuine and trying to do amazing work in some very harsh systems.<br><br>I feel supported when there is open and honest communication.&nbsp;<br><br>I feel unsupported when I am left out of communication.<br><br>I’ve liked: the fact that we are intentional and unapologetically Black is a blessing. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I want to see more in person sessions and less zoom meetings.<br><br>What i’ve liked/loved about my experience at KOO is the welcoming and collaborative culture that is built into the DNA of the company.<br><br>I’d like to be appreciated by KOO for exactly what i’ve put into it - which i definitely have been and more.<br><br>I have felt unsupported at times when a 1x1 check in was necessary and wasn’t made available.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have learned so much from my experience working with KOO. My experience has definitely been a learning one. I’ve learned how to facilitate board meetings, meet and build with a cross generational team.<br><br>I’ve felt a good amount of support these past 6 months, from check ins to team meetings to planning sessions. The infrastructure has been helpful.<br><br>I want to see more community events from the street team because the events are hella dope!&nbsp;<br><br>I would like to see more board check ins, not necessarily mandatory meetings, but check ins that are optional so we can all stay in the loop.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My direct manager makes me feel very supported by regular check ins, constant motivation and willingness to step in and help when I need it.<br><br>I want to see less of the same meetings where the contributors are always the same people. Innovation requires multiple points of view.<br><br>What i like most about my experience at KOO is that I work for an organization that genuinely cares about the outcomes for black youth AND we have a leadership team that walks the walk...AND that we’re all POC.<br><br>I love how open minded everyone is. Great minds can only think alike when people decide to speak.<br><br>I want more conversations that mean everything! Closed mouths don’t get fed. Be productive with your words.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Always be a better you.<br><br>I liked how we we meet 4 times/year.<br><br>My experience at KOO has&nbsp; been mind opening. Meet new people and working with a great and intelligent diverse group of people has been life changing.<br><br>I want to see more in person activities w/KOO. More fellowship as an org.<br><br>I think that the inclusion and acknowledgement of those who fall out of the “King” label could be better.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I want to see more engagement with the students we service. Interviews on the street (safe environments) with Kings. Activities that allow us to be active and engage personally.<br><br>What i like about my experience w/KOO is that i’ve not felt pressured or out of my element.<br><br>Being present and in spaces with team leaders and members has helped me feel supported. The check ins, meetings, and schedule have been on point.<br><br>I feel as if the new Gusto system threw off my currently planned pay schedule (feeling unsupported).</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My experience at KOO has been fantastic. I feel welcomed and respected as a leader.<br><br>I want to see more ability to get work done outside of Zoom meetings, using email, gdocs, and basecamp and other tools to move work forward quicker.<br><br>I’ve felt supported by being heard! It’s very important to be heard!<br><br>What i’ve enjoyed about my experience with KOO is that folks have beautiful intentions of wanting to better the program and folks come in with an open mind. I’ve enjoyed the essence off the KOO culture and how comfortable folks feel when they enter. It’s most definitely a unique experience.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What is helpful is identifying which goals are realistic vs what’s not.<br><br>Not having enough information/update of what’s going on in the organization&nbsp; - outside of my roles day to day.<br><br>Unsupported: there’s been some miscommunication during the initial first few weeks of partnership and trying to clarify over text and emails is pretty difficult, so&nbsp; however we can keep clear communication and identifying clarifying questions is what i would like to see more of.<br><br>Goal setting: what’s helpful are milestone check-ins. I think instituting those would be really helpful. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Instead of blanket goal setting ‘What should we do next” prompt should be “How do we respond to xyz need by xyz 2022”.<br><br>Thought partners are helpful when setting goals. Having people to bounce ideas off of who can act as advisors to programs.<br><br>Being promoted to National Street Team has made me feel supported.<br><br>The culture of feeling like female or femme presenting folx take the grunt work, while our male counterparts take lead.<br><br>Cava’s honesty has made me feel supported.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Complicated over technical thinking.<br><br>We should do the leadership test to evaluate howe we process together.<br><br>What is helpful with goal setting is developing accountability partners. To me, and what I’ve seen thus far, it’ll be very helpful I believe to ensure check ins.<br><br>I feel supported by raising 3.4M and being a part of a Team that is [illegible] to the work of KOO.<br><br>Being listened to has been a positive.<br><br>What’s helpful when setting goals is defining exactly what the desired outcome will be.<br><br>What’s not helpful in setting goals is not understanding exactly who is responsible for what task and deadlines/consequences for not delivering.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Being held accountable for goals is also a good way to make meaning.<br><br>Cava has supported me throughout the time I’ve been in KOO.          <description><![CDATA[<div>It felt great to have one-on-one dialogue with Baba C as the leader, I know he’ll hear me out.<br><br>I have felt the support organizationally coming together through our SLT, Managers, and All Hands meetings.&nbsp;<br><br>Britt and Shrim support me with gray areas in TFI. I would like support planning for year 3.&nbsp;<br><br>I would like to be recognized by KOO by somehow honoring those that might not have been identified as “Kings” similar to how we talked about today or switching how we think about that term.&nbsp;<br><br>Growth to me looks like persistence. Moving forward with goals, no bad progress. Just learning and attaining.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
