"Alex didn't believe that his brother was in a gang and dealing." Alex couldn't accept the fact that Julian was in a gang and dealing maybe because he didn't see him as a Pearson that would ruin his life in that way. Maybe Alex thought his brother was perfect and that he would never do anything that seemed so dangerous and someone that will never attempt doing drugs or joining gangs. RICKY: In the story Ricky says "Not like the love the kings have for me and how they ride for me, family can never be that deep.” This proves that Ricky is confident but at the same time he is cruel. Ricky also says "I killed your brother because he deserves it." So he knew that Ricky was being everything even on Julian death.
