Neo-Imperialism gave rise to new social points of view of colonialism. Rudyard Kipling in his poem “The White Man´s Burden”, urged the United States to “take the burden” of bringing European civilization to the other peoples of the world, regardless of whether these “other peoples” want this civilization or not. This part of “the burden of the white man” is an example of Britain’s attitude towards the colonization of other countries
