         <description><![CDATA[<p>The term discrimination is the process of making unfair or prejudicial distinctions between people based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they belong or are perceived to belong, such as race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation.</p><p><br/></p><p>For example going into a job interview and the manager or interviewer doesn’t accept you due to your disability or sexual orientation or possibly race , gender very common one’s. </p><p>Direct discrimination would be through an interview or face to face by not accepting or turning away someone just because of their race , religion or ethnicity. Indirect would be treating people differently depending on their aspect of race or skin colour ethnicity or nationality. </p><p>During the COVID pandemic, racial discrimination was happening this lead to people being treated with less respect, people being harassed or threatened. On thee BBC news, people from different races were 'over-exposed' and 'under protected'.</p>]]></description>
