- Ash and Eiji want to visit Max and Ibe by riding ferry, while talking about the origin of Ash's name: morning. There, Ash feels like somebody is following him (it's Blanca!)
- Yut Lung's brother (Wang Lung?) died, with the help of Golzine
- Ash, along with Max and __ from Newsweek is plotting something, to reveal dirty business under Golzine, Keypad, and Hollstock (banana fish)
- Golzine hires Blanca to get rid of Ash because he's a nuisance

- Hollstock is also killed by Blanca (car crash)
- Ibe visits Eiji in the penthouse, worried as usual, while Max talks about their research with Ash
- Keypad and Hollstock are announced dead, Ash realizes it's because of Golzine
- Blanca's target is Eiji, and he shoots Eiji and Ash when the two of them have lunch near the public library
- Ash and Eiji go back to the penthouse, but suddenly Eiji's shoulder is shot by Blanca from another building (Golzine and Yut Lung witness this)
- Blanca calls Ash and asks him to come alone to Blanca, Golzine, and Yut Lung, or else Eiji will die.
- Eiji, feverish, tells Ash to come with him to Japan. When Eiji's asleep, Ash is determined not to ever forgive anyone who harms Eiji.
- Ash arrives in the garage. Yut Lung asks Ash to shoot himself on the head AND HE DID IT, but the gun has no bullet. Yut Lung is surprised of how determined Ash is when it comes to Eiji. (maybe here Yut Lung realizes that Ash DOES love Eiji, and Eiji is Ash's only weakness)
- Ash's mission is to give everything he and Newsweek people have been researching and to hand Prof. Dawson to Yut Lung and Golzine. After this, Ash will be "returned" to his owner, Golzine. Or else, Eiji will die. Ash has 48 hours.
