Easter- Is the most important holiday and celebrates Christ’s resurrection from the dead. 

The Holy week includes Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday. The 40 days prior to Easter from the Lenten Season. 

Lenten Season- Lent is a 40 day period of fasting and repentance in preparation for Easter. The first day of Lent is called Ash Wednesday.

Lent marks the days that Jesus spent in the wilderness before he began to preach. During that time, Jesus fasted.

In the past, Christians observe Lent by giving up their favorite foods. Today, many Christians choose to give up things they enjoy. 

Christmas- This holiday Commemorates the birth of Jesus on December 25th. 

Some traditions are a Christmas tree and Santa Claus

Catholics and Christians go to a place to worship at a church or a cathedral. This is done on Sundays and special holidays.

Christian worship services also include a profession, or declaration, of faith.
