earth manipulation - he has a deep connection to the earth and can manipulate it at will. whether that is silencing his footsteps, tracking and sensing presences based on vibrations and magical signatures through the ground, or moving literal pieces around.

(note: he has an innate sense for vibrations and the ability to recognise and follow sounds thanks to growing up on melody. and though his magic isn't directly music-related, he has an affinity for it.)

gargoyle & golems - he can conjure up pieces of the earth to create golems, ranging in size depending on the intended use. he can also create gargoyles, though if there are pre-existing ones, he can manipulate them as well.

he can puppeteer these creatures as well as see through their eyes. this helps immensely during his patrols as a guard on campus grounds.

during his time at cloud tower, he came across one particularly dangerous creature and formed a strong bond with her, eventually adopting her as his familiar. this is also the same creature he calls upon when casting metamorphosimbiosis. when doing so, he grows black scaley patches on his face and body and he moves with more flexibility and speed.

kaya sometimes joins yunho on his patrols, whether she is slithering along beside him, or she is wrapped around his torso and neck... and down his leg. (she is a little over 6 metres/20ft long after all)
