Unlike past watercolor paintings, a larger array of colors were available, so that I did not have to mix as many colors in order to achieve what I needed. We had to mix each of our colors in order to achieve the look we wanted. This was done over a course of weeks, and was done in a small group of four. Each of us had the chance to paint, and contribute to the overall look of the design. This is one of my most favorite paintings I've done.

Then, I painted the field in front of the range as well as the back half of the cliff. From there, I kept working forward until I reached the patches of grass in the very front of the picture. I think I did really well on the three dimensional aspect of the green areas behind the waterfall. I progressed by adding layers of shading and stroke of white for highlights. With the cage being metal, I didn't have to blend as much when shading. After the background, I started to work on the rabbit as well as the wash for the foreground. I continued developing the two until I was satisfied with the way it looked. 

The social issue that I chose was animal testing. Next, I started working on the dark sections of the snake's body, and blended the lights and darks together. The last thing
