It is in front of the the oldest basilica cathedral of the city founded in 1537.

Then you will find the municipal library. In front of this library, there is “ Rincon payanes”, a beautiful and quiet Palace which is a small representation of Popayán. El morro yamileth_guerrero11 https://padlet.com/yamileth_guerrero11/zt5jldjzyb3a/wish/168771351 El morro   is a small mountain that is in front of the “Rincón payanes”.  Above the “El morro”, there is a monument in honor of the Conqueror Sebastián de Belalcázar who helped found popayan, in this place you can see the panoramic view of city, where you can take nice photos and also enjoy the best sunsets.
