3 facts that I learned was that the Igneous rock was made from lava from a volcano, and which is one reason it crushes and turns into a sedimatery rock. The sedimitery rocks kinda feels sandy because it's from the Igneous rock. (A fun fact. when the Igneous rock crushed down, It mixes into a sandy filling.) And then, thats when the metamorphic rock comes in! The metamorphic rock has heat and pressure in it so when the sedimitery rock has heat and pressure, it becomes hard and forms into a metamorphic rock.

One fact I learned is that igneous rocks are formed from lava and magma but that same rock can be heated and pressurized into a metamorphic rock or even eroded into sediment that later forms a sedimentary rock so that means that they are all interchangeable. Another fact is that the rock cycle actually proves that some of the rocks we see might be the same rocks from thousands of years ago because all rocks can be eroded away, broken down, pressurized, melted and remade using the same rocks. The last fact that I learned was that erosion can be caused by anything from water to wind so a rock is constantly being eroded away even if we don't see a physical change in the rock.
