There are 3 different plate boundaries that form different types of land forms and natural disasters. The first is transform which is when 2 plates slide by each other which causes friction and results as an earthquake. The 2nd is divergent, the 2 plates move away from each other and the "tunnel" fills up with magma. This outcome is a volcano. The last plate boundary process is the convergent which is when 2 plates collide, they cause mountain ranges to form.
