Function :
The inverse of a function is only possible if function is 1:1
The domain of f(x) is the range of the inverse and vice versa.

Quadratic:
When a line and a curve intersect at one point only as a tangent then b^2 - 4ac = 0

This is too much effort I can't write them all.

Quadratic equation involve x square and can be solved using completing square, middle term breaking , or by using the calculator. Functions is f(x) and generally the inverse questions are hard specially finding their range.
