China has made significant achievements in ecological conservation, but still faces many challenges. Despite an increase in forest coverage from 8.6% to over 24% over the past 70 years and the effective containment of desertification through projects like the "Three-North Shelter Forest," mismanagement of forests and over-logging still pose threats to biodiversity and climate change. Additionally, while China has made progress in reducing PM2.5 density, air pollution and water scarcity remain significant issues.

Discussion Question:

What do you think are the most effective strategies that China can implement to address the dual challenges of deforestation and air pollution while continuing its economic development?
