Let's start the tips.
Go to forum because it's near the coliseum, these places are influences in the Ocident. It's in the center of the city, there is a bus station in front, but near there are subways too.
You need try the pizzas (there are very cheap restaurants in the streets around the coliseum), and don't forget to try the "gelato", it is an ice cream.
The most important, walk a lot, visit the museums, churches and breathe the cultural air.
It's an unforgetable travel.

There is an airport in the city, then you can take a plane or you can get there by car. There are many restaurants with very tasteful foods. Try the Sergipe's bazilian snack "pastel" with vitamin. Visit Igapo lake and the waterfalls, they are cool.
There are some parks that you can walk, and also visit UEL, it is the city's university.
