Y6 and Y7 staff to understand impact.

Interviewing children (ethical considerations / consideration of shared understanding of questions)

Potential for specific targeting of participation to consider different needs of children.

How many schools? Consider context and existing contextual influences

Focus groups with teachers or support staff.

Focus group of Year 6 pupils.

Consider designated geographical area - potential a group of school.

There's no mention of how well they do the support so we have avoided some elements because of this e.g. not talking to Year 7 staff.

Grouping by data received to explore further e.g. gender / amount of time spent.

Comparative data needed.

Identify definition of academic performance. How do we want to measure - outcomes or progress made.

Defining scope of participants - define numbers. Specify numbers / locality / context

Define screen time - is it social media / revision sites etc

Identify perception scale to measure confidence / belonging.

Questionnaire to identify people who have already been involved. Need a comparator with those who haven't had mentoring.
