In PPS class, we saw a video regarding intercultural understanding and applied ethics. Applied ethics, also called practical ethics, is the application of ethics to real-world problems. Practical ethics attempts to answer the question of how people should act in specific situations. Intercultural understanding involves students learning about and engaging with diverse cultures in ways that recognize commonalities and differences, create connections with others, and cultivate mutual respect. After watching the video on intercultural understanding and applied ethics, our teacher then decided to create groups of four members. Each group decided to pick their topic from the video and debate about it.

This Video was about choosing between moral dilemmas and life-changing decisions and if you chose more As than Bs, it means that you're a person who has a strict moral code, and you try to stick to your principles no matter what. If you choose more Bs, you usually make decisions under the influence of your emotions. We then decided to debate on the topics that were in the video, the topics were:

A runaway train
A trolley out of control
A judge's dilemma
Your best friend's wedding
Reporting Robin Hood
A car crash and a killed pedestrian
Money and family

Each group decided to pick a topic from these and each 2 members in the group of 4 begin to debate with each other.

In the "Management Lessons from the Streets of India" lecture, we learned how underrated the talent and power of India's streets are, even the unorganized sector. So I decided to help a specific vendor. I helped a flower vendor that comes into my society now and then.

How I helped them:

1) Suggested flower vendors sell sweets with the flowers they sell.

2 Asked them to promote their businesses during festive or special occasions to increase sales.

3) Offered marketing assistance by creating flyers or posters highlighting the unique offerings of flower vendors.

4) Asked them to promote their business on social media like Instagram, Facebook, etc.

5) Told them to collaborate with other vendors that can help.

This in turn improved their Business a bit more, at least I managed to attract more customers to them.
