Overall Message: Underlining Of Certain Choices

In the end, the moral of the experiment is to show how society chooses people based on idiotic and ridiculous reasons. This was a big realization for everyone because it showed how even though we as a society would like to think that we are not gonna be chosen based on race, religion, sexual orientation and or anything else discriminative we often are and that is a major problem in our society today.

Step 1: Picking The Leader

In the beginning, the players must come together to choose two leaders. Now, most would automatically choose one player that they all agree on, but having to choose the second is very difficult. Especially, if one player has a higher popularity rate than another.

Normally in a group, there is a common person that is considered to be the one "everyone likes". This will be the first leader because it is easy for everyone to agree. However, choosing the second leader is where true feelings come out and it will be interesting to see who everyone chooses.

From personal experience, the second leader was chosen based on two things, which were popularity and convenience. Popularity was a factor because the second leader was very popular and had most of their friends in the group to vote. Also, convenience was another factor because it was easier for most to agree than to debate about the topic.

Step 2: Only Three Chances To Make It

As the leaders have been chosen. The players must figure out a "riddle" to know if they have the possibility of making it to the next round with only three chances to do so. This has caused a lot of uncertainty and confusion because the players do not know what is to come if they make it and what may happen if they do not make it.

Step 3: In or Out

After the three chances are over one will know if they were in, which is if said person made it to the next round, or out, which means that they were kicked out because they did not know what it took to get in. This really tested the emotional standpoint of the players and their ability to solve a riddle per say.

The emotional standpoint was affected because each time there was a chance to state their answer, tensions and emotions began to rise as some understood what was needed and others did not.

The uncertainty and emotional confusion that the players were having affected their ability to solve the "riddle", which in return caused most to be outcasted.

Step 4: You Decide

In this Step the players have to make a choice. A choice that will be very difficult because it is required that they say why they should stay and why one other person should not. The Catch was that there was no way of knowing if one would make it or not until the leaders came back with the final decision.

Having to put up a friend was a very difficult choice, but one must remember that if it is a life or death situation, would they really put himself up instead of someone else? These were things that were running through the minds of the players. However, some thought that if they voted themselves out that it would show that they could never turn on their group, but in the end that did not help them at all.

The experiment is starting to come to an end and this is the part where tension was undeniably strong.

The feeling of not knowing whether someone made it or not was so scary that one could almost forget to breath. From personal experience all I felt was nervousness. Nervous that I would not make it and have to go into the danger zone. Nervous that I would make it and that it would not be all the safety I was hoping for. The environment was very quiet because out of the six people only three would make it into the safe zone, but the only thing we did not know was that we would be chosen based on fashion choices instead of the skill we possess.

Step 6: The Answer To The Unknown

In this final part of the game the safe would find out why they were chosen, and the danger outcast would find out why they were outcasted. The only thing that they did not know was that the answer to this question would be because of their fashion choices that day.

A key point in this answer was that out of the six left, three were wearing pullovers and three were wearing zip up jackets. This was important because this is how the leaders chose who stayed and who went. They did not choose because of the skills they had, but because of the fact that they decided to wear a certain jacket versus another. Because of this the ones who were safe were the ones wearing the pullovers and the ones wearing the zip ups were casted out.
