My favorite character would have to be Sohrab because he is a bit sad and confused as to what to do and what to say but as soon as he has it on it's mind it's like he's trying to connect on an emotional level to get you to understand his feelings. Also another thing that he just brings a reminder of some one dear to all the readers which kind of brings happiness to everyone who reads

I find the scene where assef and Amir are fighting, because when Amir is hit and starts laughing it tells why he is laughing and how he felt he finally got what he deserved. It also shows how Sohrab beats Assef with just his slingshot and I believe that this can be related to the story of david and goliath.

Even though the story is really sad and irritating at times, it just pulls you in. The way that conflicts are resolved just to have more open up makes you want to keep reading because you get attached to characters like Hassan and Sohrab and want to see whether or not they end up fine.

I like how the story line goes, how Amir and Hassan were so close and how Amir didn’t do anything to save him, yet Hassan stood up for him so many times. Then, how Hassan’s son stood up for Amir just like his father did, even using the same weapon but Sohrab did complete his father’s work, and now Amir is going to make Sohrab’s life better by taking him with him to the U.S; now at last Amir would redeem himself and there would be a good life to the boy.
