Genre: Graphic Novel

Summary: Gregg Heffly’s mom wants to renovate her kitchen to make it bigger. And his parents need too raise money to make it happen. But that did not cover it. But then an unexpected inheritance was given to the Hefflys, from Gregg’s aunt who had just died. So the Hefflys all agreed to renovate the kitchen with the money. When the renovation started it was all smooth sailing until a bunch of problems started to fall on the renovation: Rotten wood, toxic mold and critters getting into the house. But then the next day when the construction workers came back, they set up there cement truck on the Heffly’s lawn. Since it was on a hill, the mixer tipped over and destroyed the neighbor’s flower garden! So they went to court and they were told to shut down the project. Gregg’s mom still wants a bigger kitchen, so she try’s to sell the house for the money to get a new one. They finally get  buyers! But then the hot tub fell through the house and blew it.

Summary: The story a fish in a tree is about a girl (ally Nickerson) Who has an extraordinary mind, but goes about h day thinking that she’s dumb because she cant read.  She soon finds out that she has dyslexia, but due to her new teacher, she finds hope in a maze of problems throughout the story. 

Theme(s): believing in your self, individuality, and confidence.

I would recommend this book to anybody who likes stories that have a lot of action. Also with that action comes some stuff that jumps out at you so whatch out.

Ben, an ordinary middle schooler, offered an opportunity to be a spy which has been his dream for a while now and says yes he released that it is not easy to be a spy, he is in life and death situation and lying to every one including his family but he still decides to be a spy because everyone  thinks he is a nerd and he started to, until he became a spy. Being a spy makes him feel cooler and besides Alexander {the person who Ben thinks is really cool and was the first real spy he meet other than him}  and his crush Areca are both there.

Theme:
The theme of this book is that it is really hard to be a spy but Ben is still doing it. 
Recommendation:

Summary: Willam is the main character and he doesn’t want mrs Phillips to leave his nanny she said she was home sick and wanted to go back to london so has her good bye present she gave him the castle and it came with one soilder one night William went up to play with the castle he looking around it picked up the knight and put him to his cheeks the And knight came alive so they became friends and the knight had this shrinking necklace he stole from Alastair the king/wizard and the day before mrs Phillips left they turned her small so she could stay with him forever but then it didn’t play out so good later sir Simon the knight said he had to go back and defeat Alastair so William said turn me small and then they did this riddle and went back to the land of Alastair and went on this big adventure to defeat Alastair.
