This user friendly website gives teachers the ability to create quizzes and surveys about any subject area. Teachers can use ready made Kahoots that have been created by others. Students then have the capability to answer questions through a variety of devices and using colors and shapes to connect to the answer. The website even tracks student achievement by looking at what the student did during the Kahoot, as well as overall achievement while logged in.

Kahoot is very easy to use to create quizzes and surveys.

Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. Grids can be shared with classes, small groups, or any collection of users interested in a common strand of questions. Each grid can hold an unlimited number of topics and each topic can hold an unlimited number of responses. It is more suited for grades 3-12.

This tool works across multiple platforms but is ideal for grades 3-12. This is an Engaging, easy-to-use tool that supports both formative and summative assessment while allowing for student collaboration.
We can probe deeply by discussing an essential question or a video with students in real time or use the Team Up feature and monitor progress as students create collaborative presentations about current events, novels, or math and science topics. We can also show exemplary responses with the class as they create so that they can see models as they work, and cut down on the conundrum of "Who did what?" by viewing each student's contribution on our screen.

Educators can use Google forms to assess their students at the beginning of the class  and gauge pre-existing knowledge. Furthermore, Google forms can be used to give feedback to and receive feedback from students and parents. Similarly, students can use Google forms to assess their own learning and set the learning goals as well as to collect data for their research projects.
