With her art the artist wants to give people an escape from reality and a new perspective. Turning things upside down or using impossible scales is what she loves.

Irie uses Photoshop to make digital collage art which quickly grew into the brand ‘Irie Wata’. The point of her art is to give people a brief escape from reality as well as a different perspective and make them think or look twice. She likes to create optical illusions by playing with gravity, size, and time clashes. She's best known for her upside-down universe.
